Best Laid Plans

Dammit.

I was going to expound at length about "Superman Returns" -- specifically, about how Bryan Singer has made a 1970s movie for the present day, right down to the cinematography, the pacing and the music -- but suddenly I find I've booked myself into running around the city all day.
