Marking Time
No news to report, nothing to say ... I was going to mount a defense of "Death of a President" for Mathew at Torontoist, but I've been sidetracked by a ridiculously long morning screening and the final obligation of my festival jury duties, which involves a whole lot of reading and editing. So here I am, reading and editing. And Blogger still won't let me upload photographs.
I'll try to put something together for tomorrow; in the meantime, here are the links to my reviews of "Gridiron Gang" and "Dreamland". Not entirely sure what happened to my "Everyone's Hero" review -- it seems to have fallen through the editorial cracks somewhere -- but here's the skinny: It manages to defile the memories of both Christopher Reeve and Babe Ruth, and two more disparate personalities I cannot imagine. So that's a triumph on some level, I guess.
