A Slight Improvement

Okay, I spoke too soon. The FIPRESCI pickings are heating up a little -- two more movies for which I'd be happy to vote, and one that I wouldn't necessarily challenge.

All this, with a couple of titles still left to see, one of which is generating considerable buzz. And I have no idea how my fellow jurors are faring. The festival's getting interesting.

Plus, I have a ticket for the premiere screening of "Death of a President" tonight, which automatically makes me cool.
