A Sort of Accomplishment

Dig this: Harlan Jacobson -- a writer whom I respect, like, a whole bunch -- quoted me, however fleetingly, in his USA Today piece on "Death of a President".

It's not the best line I gave him -- I had this whole rap on real footage being warped in the service of the creation of a realistic fiction, and I also called it "a really interesting episode of CSI: Washington" -- but of course the most interesting quote is rarely the one that best serves the story.

I've already found some other place for the footage thing, as it happens.
