This week on Someone Else’s Movie, I’m joined by the actor, playwright and musician Charlie Kerr — who co-stars in Lost Solace, just out on iTunes, and is mounting his new play After Wrestling down at the Factory Theatre right now with his co-writer and director Bryce Hodgson. So, yeah, he’s busy.

But Charlie really wanted to talk about Taika Waititi’s 2010 breakout Boy, and who am I to say no to that? It’s a marvelous little film, bittersweet and spiky in all the right ways, and one could argue that its shambling little heart is what set Waititi on the road to world domination with last year’s Thor: Ragnarok.

Or at least I could. Pretty sure I did, actually. It’s all a blur.
