This week’s episode of Someone Else’s Movie is kind of special, and not  just because we recorded it in an actual studio with proper equipment and stuff at Rogers HQ,  (The renovations next door are going to make home tapings impossible for a bit.)

No, that’s because this week I sat down with Chantel Riley — of Frankie Drake Mysteries, Wynonna Earp and the brand-new Suits spinoff Pearson — and we talked about Black Panther, and how important it was for her to be able to see a Marvel movie she can imagine herself inside.

I’m really glad she picked this film, and it was a pleasure to talk to her about it … and about the other stuff that comes up over the course of the conversation, too. We get hella nerdy.
