So this was fun: Late last year, the nice people at Hollywood Suite invited me to program all four of their movie channels for a night … and that night is here!

I tried to make it interesting, I tried to make it eclectic, but mostly I tried to screen a lot of stuff that isn’t available on Blu-ray, the better to showcase some films in the HD presentations they deserve. Criterion subsequently stole a little of my thunder by announcing a new remastered edition of Cassavetes’ Husbands, but that’s fine, you can switch over to the ’80s channel and watch The Dead Zone in that window instead.
