Day of the Deadites

This week on Someone Else’s Movie, I welcome another podcaster into the studio. Justin Decloux is the enthusiastic co-host of the very fun shows The Important Cinema Club, No Such Thing As a Bad Movie and the semi-dormant Loose Cannons, and he’s also a filmmaker, having taken his second feature Impossible Horror to a genre showcase at Lincoln Center this past summer.

With the movie dropping on disc next week, this seemed like a good time to get him on the show, and Justin delivered with a great episode on Army of Darkness, the giddy hybrid horror comedy that capped off Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead trilogy.

You primitive screwheads know what to do, right? Subscribe to the show on Apple PodcastsGoogle Playand Stitcher, stream it on Spotify or just download it directly from the web. Give it a listen, think fondly of stop-motion skeletons, and maybe make plans to join Justin and the Impossible Horror team at the Blu-ray launch party next Tuesday at The Royal. That should be fun.
