In this week’s NOW, I look at TIFF’s new Brian De Palma retrospective and am reminded that I like more of his stuff than I don’t. (Especially Phantom of the Paradise, which is just so good.)

I also check out the fifth annual Toronto Korean Film Festival, and am forced to contend with the ongoing disappointment that is Kim Ki-duk. These things happen, I guess.
