As if the spring festival circuit wasn’t busy enough, for a few years now, the Toronto Jewish Film Festival has gotten rolling while Hot Docs is still underway.

And this year more than most, it feels like a direct challenge: TJFF 2017 has a really good documentary program, and I dig into it in this week’s NOW.

Also, because it’s opening everywhere tonight and I know you’re curious, here’s my review of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It’s ever so good.
